Art Outside Display Opens This Weekend!

Webster Woods is a five-acre “museum without walls” featuring sculptures and site works integrated into a unique setting of nature. On Saturday (6-19-10) season 9 of Art Outside will be premiering with a special ceremony at 1:30pm, Friends of the Fine Arts Center president, Linda Crow, and Webster Trust Chair, Vicci Rudin will officially accept the latest gift to the Center’s growing collection. At 2 pm Webster’s Woods resident curator and PAFAC executive director, Jake Seniuk, will lead his first ART RANGER TOUR of the new season. . Seniuk began the Art Outside program in 2000 with works from 40 Northwest artists and has added 20 or more each year since then. His behind-the-scene commentary will not only premiere the new arrivals, but also provide revealing insights into the more than 100 works still in place from previous seasons. Art Outside 2010 opens at 1 p.m. Saturday, with a special ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Webster's Woods Art Park is located at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd. it is open during daylight hours year-round, and admission is free.
