“Duty free shopping is something our passengers have always been interested in having on board,” said Ryan Burles, CEO of Black Ball Ferry Line. “We are pleased to be able to offer this new service for passengers, in addition to our on board gift shop, which has always been very popular.”
Located in the mid ship lounge of the main passenger deck, Coho Duty Free is open seven days a week allowing passengers to shop while they sail on the M.V. Coho. The Coho operates year round, providing a convenient international link between Port Angeles, gateway to Olympic National Park and Victoria, the capital of British Columbia.
This year Black Ball Ferry Line is celebrating its 50th anniversary by giving away a free weekend vacation for two every month for the entire year. People can enter to win online at CohoFerry.com. Black Ball Ferry Line recently re-launched its website with more services for travelers including trip planning, special packages and online reservations.
Annually more than 405,000 passengers and over 120,000 vehicles make the Port Angeles-Victoria run. Since operations began in 1959, the Coho has transported more than 21 million passengers and five million vehicles.
