Unveiling of Elwha River Restoration Logo and Tagline
Olympic National Park will unveil a new logo and tagline for the Elwha River Restoration project at an “after hours” celebration on Tuesday, November 16 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center. Discover Your Northwest and Friends of Olympic National will co-host the celebration.
The new logo was designed by Port Angeles-based Laurel Black Design, and represents the magnitude and importance of the Elwha River Restoration project, which includes the largest dam removal in U.S. history and will restore the river’s salmon populations from 3,000 to nearly 400,000. The tagline was developed by New Path Marketing of Sammamish, Washington.Community members are invited to join Superintendent Gustin and other members of the park staff, along with members of Discover Your Northwest and Friends of Olympic National Park for the celebration. Light refreshments and a range of new Elwha River Restoration logo products will be available at the Discover Your Northwest bookstore.
