That fabulous time of year - when Arts in Action arrives - is almost here!  Next weekend, July 25-27, the sand sculptors will be here, there’ll be a cool vendor village on the pier and lots of fun in store.  Plan on coming down early starting Thursday, and watch the sculptures take shape…what began as a quiet little festival is quickly becoming a destination for tourists as well as a familiar favorite of residents. Nor’Wester Rotary’s (www.rotarynorwester.org ) Arts in Action has the only North American master sand sculptor invitational competition and is the only event of its kind in the Northwest with arts and crafts, food, live music and sand sculptures. It’s great entertainment for kids of all ages and the entire family!  I always leave the ol’ burrow for this fun, fun, fun festivity!
