Olympic National Park provides so many satisfactions to our senses, we sometimes forget the spirits who also rest here.  The soft tranquility of the Elwah’s gurglings carry thoughts and hearts and memories over the majestic forest’s floor, blending and reshaping its path with each passing burble.  Within these canyon walls and open spaces rest many, many souls of those gone before.  The earth here indeed is sacred.  One cannot enter into the park without having the spirits surround and hold them in the hands of peace.  We are visually treated to the beauty of the spirits - the mountains and overlooks soothe our souls and calm the day’s tensions…much as the spirits gone before us have done.  Appreciate and respect the park for all the beauty and soul stirrings that it holds for us…as well as the spirits who eternally reside.  Listen to the wind’s rush - the voices of our beloved sing out in peaceful reassurances all is well.
