Jane and John Doe, the rock n’roll band scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 has had to cancel their appearance and have rescheduled for September 10th, 2008.  Sorry for any incovenience this may create for our concert lovers!  This means that there is NO CONCERT for Wednesday evening, Aug. 20th.

“Locust Street Taxi” is the band playing tonight at the Concerts on the Pier - a jazzy folk-rock group who’s toe-tappin’ music is most enjoyable.  The 6:00p beginning is not to be missed…pack a picnic and plant yourself on the perimeter of the amphitheater to participate in this free entertainment! 

BOWI, the Celtic sounds band,  will be on the Pier tonite for the Wednesday Concerts on the Pier.  Lovers of Irish music will revel with this fine group of musicians….bring a blanket and picnic dinner (or take advantage of the vendors’ offerings) to enjoy, and …Sláinte!

Being Wednesday, there’s another fabulous concert on the City pier at 6p-8p.  Justus, a country band, will provide the entertainment and as usual, there will be food vendors if you’d like to have an al fresco dinner while listening!  Enjoy a nice evening in the Center of it All!
