Sol Duc Road to Open to Ranger Station this Weekend; Campground Still
Snow-Covered

Olympic National Park’s Sol Duc Road will open this Sunday, to the Eagle
Ranger Station, allowing access to several trailheads and the Salmon
Cascades viewpoint.  Heavy snow still covers the campground and upper
section of road and the road will remain gated at the ranger station until
further notice.

The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort remains closed as well, and is scheduled to
open for the season on May 1.

The Heart O’the Hills, Elwha, Mora, Ozette, Hoh and Kalaloch campgrounds
are all open.

More information about Olympic National Park roads and campgrounds is
available at the park’s website, www.nps.gov/olym/.
