    Mark your calendar for an expert discussion and field demonstration of fruit tree pruning hosted by the Olympic Orchard Society, Saturday February 2, beginning at 9:30 AM. ISA Certified Arborist and WSNLA Certified Horticulturist Gordon Clark will explain why we prune fruit trees, and best practices for pruning that reflect current science. Information covered will be valuable to first time pruners and those with experience alike. The lecture will be held at the Sequim Prairie Grange, located at 290 Macleay Rd, in Sequim. The demonstration will be held at an orchard off site and directions will be provided after the talk. This event is free and open to the public.
