    Event Description:
Local Entrepreneurs and community-minded investors are invited to attend the first ever North Olympic Entrepreneur Showcase. This event provides an opportunity for new businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs to present their business cases to local, community-minded investors who may be interested in helping support their startup or growth.

    What Happens at the NOES?
The program will begin with an expo of booths displaying the businesses of participating entrepreneurs. Attendees can explore the booths and meet with the business owners to discuss their ideas. Booth-side networking will be followed by main-stage presentations where a handful of entrepreneurs will present slideshows, demonstrations, and more in-depth information about their businesses. These presentations will be followed by an informal mixer with food, cocktails, and other refreshments, providing presenters and attendees with the opportunity to network, make connections, and build potential relationships.

Who Can Attend? The NOES is open to any community-minded potential investors from Clallam or Jefferson County who would like to connect with entrepreneurs, learn about the challenges and opportunities that local businesses face, and explore how to support their local businesses in a variety of creative ways. There is no cost to attend, however, attendees and presenters must register in advance.

Are You an Entrepreneur Who Would Like to Participate?
Entrepreneurs in Jefferson or Clallam County with a great business plan who need support to grow their newly established business or startup, please consider registering for the Showcase. There is no cost to participate. After you've registered you'll be contacted by someone from the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship to assist you with your presentation.

The deadline to apply as a participating entrepreneur is Tuesday, Sept. 21st but we encourage application as early as possible!

    Who are the organizers?
The showcase is part of an effort by several organizations to establish and grow a healthy and strong network of local investors by putting community-minded investors together with enthusiastic entrepreneurs. This event is a collaboration between the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship (CIE), Jamestown S?Klallam Tribal Capital, the North Olympic Development Council (NODC), the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, and the Clallam Opportunity Investment Network (COIN).

Whether or not you can attend the workshop, we encourage you to join the Clallam Opportunity Investment Network, which brings key members of the community together to allow investors to connect with entrepreneurs, learn about the challenges and opportunities that local businesses face, and inspire everyone to work together to support their local businesses in a variety of creative ways, including patronage and mentoring. For more information visit
    www.ClallamInvest.com.

Please Note: Business owners and entrepreneurs cannot speak publicly about the specific terms of their investment opportunities. Instead, the North Olympic Entrepreneur Showcase allows members of the community to connect with the presenters, learn about their businesses, and explore the potential of local entrepreneurships.  After the event, private follow-up meetings can be arranged where presenters and interested attendees can continue to build relationships, and if/when appropriate, discuss investing opportunities.
